Some of you know this, some do not.

She has had many ups and downs over the last 2 years that keep her from working full time and unable to do many things she would like. She has had several different types of Chemo, and steroid treatments. Her latest treatment being Plasmapheresis. Most treatments work for awhile but none are a cure.
Here's the reason for this post.
There is a treatment, that may well be a cure being done at Northwestern University in Chicago. Four patients have had it done so far and the 5th person is getting ready to have it.
Lauren is in the process of seeing if she will be accepted for this same treatment.
A fundraising fund is being set up to help with living expenses, bills and so on while Lauren and I are in Chicago. The money will also go toward anything the insurance does not pay.
The name of the fundraising fund is called
"Pocket Change Cure for Devic's NMO."
Here is my part of the fundraising: All profit from my cookies from now till we leave to go to Chicago will go toward our expenses for the trips. Food, lodging and so on.
