Super delicious birthday cookies

Chocolate Chip Cookies are the hardest cookie to bake, I think. Maybe the weather is to blame, one too large egg, not quite enough flour, overbeating the batter, the butter not at the right temperature, etc. But today I got it right! Slightly crispy on the outside, chocolate melting everywhere, buttery, melt-in-your-mouth texture, soft in the middle, well, enough said. I hope it doesn't sound like I'm bragging, but cookie bakers will understand. The cookie was worth the calories today!
