I was amazed by this monster sheet cake first posting about it here at Cake Fun. It may be the world's largest and now the world's most expensive birthday cake ever. The cake was provided by the Sara Lee Corp. The committee organizers believed the birthday cake was a corporate donation...a birthday gift. Not so says Sara Lee spokeswoman Dawn Mann. She asserts that the company never agreed to donate the basketball court-sized cake. But it was delivered at a discount.
