Whirlpool brand is calling all amateur bakers to pull out their finest story-telling cakes for its third annual Great American Cake-off, a nationwide search for America's most unique cakes and the stories that go with them. Entrants must submit a recipe with cooking directions, a photograph of the cake and the story behind it. Judging will be based on the following: story/history, originality and ease of recipe.
One grand prize winner will receive $5,000 and a Whirlpool® suite of kitchen appliances. Two runners-up will receive a Whirlpool® suite of kitchen appliances.
