Some cakes photograph better than they look, and some look better than they photograph! My chicken didn't come through all that great here, her tail feathers are white at the end and are hard to make out against the white background of the cake.
I made this cake for my husband's grandmother who just celebrated her 92nd birthday! She calls everyone little chicken, so we thought it would be cute to give her a chicken cake... didn't have time to do the shaped cake thing this time around.
