State fairs are under way across the nation and the blue ribbon recipes are pouring in. Cake Fun's top pick this week is Sue Prugger's Banana Split Shortcake which won first place and $150 at the Wisconsin State Fair. It has all the makings of a banana split pilled onto layers of shortcake and topped with chocolate sauce, whipped cream, maraschino cherries and pecan halves.
